The Story Beneath Our Feet

Perma Harvest is a regenerative landscaping and small farm venture rooted in Ojai, California, represented by land stewards committed to ecological restoration, food sovereignty, and community empowerment. We operate at the intersection of agriculture, education, and social justice, combining permaculture principles with hands-on workshops, food-producing landscapes, and circular economic models that reinvest in the people and ecosystems around us.

Our mission is to cultivate healthier, happier, and more resilient communities by restoring soil, strengthening local food systems, and creating opportunities for shared learning and labor. Whether through building edible schoolyards, hosting community events, or transforming vacant lots into thriving habitat, we seek to embody a future where land care is people care—and everyone has a seat at the table.

Right now, Perma Harvest is transforming our little corner of Ojai into a vibrant gathering place—part working farm, part outdoor classroom, and part neighborhood festival. We’re building it with our own hands, one garden bed, stone wall, irrigation line, and jam jar at a time—believing fully that if you build it with love and purpose, the community will come. And they are. From film nights to compost spreading parties, from kimchi workshops to habitat builds, the momentum is growing.

This space thrives because of the people who show up. Every wheelbarrow pushed, every child fed, every laugh around the fire helps shape what Perma Harvest becomes next. Our farm is a living project—open to all who want to learn, teach, create, or just soak in the joy of being part of something regenerative. Your participation doesn’t just sustain us—it expands the vision. We’re building it together, and we hope you’ll come be a part of it.
